The death has occurred of

Ellen (Chrissie) Delaney (née Gilmartin), Manchester, U.K. and formerly Mooreville, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, February 6th, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John Delaney (formerly Skirk, Borris-in-Ossory), her parents James and Margaret Gilmartin, sisters Mary Gilmartin, Sadie Doheny and brother Jimmy Gilmartin. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Margaret and Ellen, son Patrick, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Colin, Patrick’s partner Katie, sisters Tessie Bell (Dublin), Peggy Breen (Rathdowney), brother Tommy Gilmartin (Rathdowney), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
